This is your one stop shop for updates and information about the Town of Sherburne's comprehensive plan update.
A comprehensive plan is a document created for sharing a community’s long-term vision. In New York State, these documents are used to guide choices about growth, infrastructure, and investment. Sherburne last updated its plan in 2008; a thoughtful update built around local values and priorities will serve as a useful planning tool, and give the Town much greater influence in the decisions that guide its future.
Community input is at the heart of this process. Over the next few months, volunteers from the community will conduct extensive outreach to hear from as many residents as possible—because a plan is only useful if it reflects the values of the people who call Sherburne home.
Below you can learn more about how this effort came about and how it's going, sign up for regular updates, and find out how you can get involved and make your voice heard.
