The USDA Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program (RMAP) is designed to assist economic development districts serving rural communities in providing workshops, access to capital (grants and loans) and technical support to rural businesses. This program aims to foster the growth of small businesses in rural communities, ultimately contributing to local economic development.
RMAP is funding through the US Department of Agriculture Rural Development.
At this workshop we will discuss what should be included in your grant budget - direct costs, indirect costs, and contingency planning.
We will also discuss MWBE, Davis-Bacon, and other requirements that may need to be included in your budget.
The night of the workshop, join us either remotely or in person. The workshop will be held at the MVEDD offices:
