Improving the energy efficiency of your home starts with a home energy assessment, conducted by trained and experienced contractors, which gives you a top-to-bottom look at where your home is wasting energy. You receive a list of recommended improvements.
NYSERDA offers two loan options (On-Bill Recovery and Smart Energy Loans) to help New York State residents finance energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements made thorough NYSERDA's programs. Loans can be used with Assisted Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, Comfort Home, NY-Sun, Renewable Heat NY, and Air & Ground Source Heat Pumps.
EmPower New York provides those who qualify with no cost energy efficiency upgrades. EmPower New York Contractors will identify energy efficiency measures that can be installed at no cost to you.
New York State is making solar energy more accessible to homes, businesses, and communities through NY-Sun. Our goal is to help make it possible for New Yorkers to choose clean energy while lowering their energy costs.
Community solar allows New Yorkers to save money every month on their electric bills. You can subscribe to the community solar project and receive credits on your regular electric bill for the clean energy produced. Everyone, including renters and co-op/condo owners, can save money by accessing the clean energy produced by these solar farms.
